Flooded Based in Westbury, Long Island

This flooded basement in Westbury, Long Island NY was the result of a ruptured Slop Sink water supply. Which caused a 1-inch flood of CAT 1 / CLASS 1 water in the basement. Unfortunately, the water sat for some time, which caused mold to develop throughout the basement. 

Emergency extraction of the water was performed and 1 dehumidifier was placed to control the environment until mold mitigation was approved and performed. 

Mold mitigation was performed by removing 1’x10’ section of drywall while running an air scrubber to extract all spores while work was performed.
